The Clubhouse offers member outreach, advocacy and awareness events, social outings, fellowship and inclusion to adults living with mental illness to help alleviate the isolation that can happen when this population has lost their friends or healthy peer group members.
A core component of Clubhouses is how members prepare daily lunches, have nutritional education and group fitness classes. Most Clubhouses also offer individual exercise and gardening opportunities for involvement.
Clubhouses are engaged with connecting members to employment services, education and housing support, technology lessons and work opportunities while they are in a non-intimidating environment.
